AYDAN Applauds Empowerment Initiative on Education by Pharm. (Mrs) Akinbile Uzamat [SPONSORED]
A non political group that serves as an advocate for good governance, youth empowerment and community development, Alimosho Youth Development of Nigeria (AYDAN) has commended the laudable initiative, of donating writing materials and school bags to the primary school pupils in Alimosho, a project that worth millions of naira.
In his words, Comrade Ogungbade Olawale said "AYDAN is not just about speaking loudly against bad leadership of a political representative, we are also advocates for good governance, therefore, the laudable activities of Pharm. (Mrs) Uzamat Akinbile Yussuf, has been noted, I can proudly say, she has always lived up to the expectations of not only the youths in Alimosho, but the entire youths in Lagos State and this is a good representation that deserve to be encouraged"
He commended further "These project will surely relieve the parents of these pupils, the cost of procuring these learning materials, this laudable exercise can't be better provided than now, when the costs of purchasing these learning materials have greatly skyrocketed. Pharm. Uzamat' donation has been timely and well appreciated.
On behalf of the entire members of AYDAN, I say a very big thank you to our able and dynamic Lagos State Commissioner for youth and Social Development, Pharm (Mrs) Akinbile Uzamat" AYDAN President said.
Recall that, on the 13th of July, 2017, the Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Pharm (Mrs) Akinbile Uzamat donated writing materials and school bags to all pupils of public primary and secondary schools in Alimosho area of the state. In attendance of the exercise, were the political leaders in Alimosho.
The donations came through THE GOODWILL PROJECT, a brainchild of Pharm (Mrs) Akinbile Uzamat which she started in 2013 in Agbado Okeodolcda Alimosho Local Government Area, while serving as Supervisor for Agriculture and Social Development.
She focused this years project on children with respect to their educational development through the provision of basic educational materials for pupils in primary and secondary schools in Alimosho council area as a whole.
