The U.S already warned that experimental drug Nanosilver is a pesticide...and now Nigerian Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu says the drug, developed by a Nigerian in diaspora, has failed health requirements and will not be used on Ebola patients in Nigeria. The minister said this today August 18th while receiving the US Ambassador, Mr James Entwistle, in his office in Abuja. "The experimental drug, Nano Silver did not meet the requirements of the National Health Research Ethics Code. Microsoft Corporation and Nokia Corporation today announced that the Boards of Directors for both companies have decided to enter into a transaction whereby Microsoft will purchase substantially all of Nokia’s Devices & Services business, license Nokia’s patents, and license and use Nokia’s mapping services. Under the terms of the agreement, Microsoft will pay EUR 3.79 billion to purchase substantially all of Nokia’s Devices & Services business, and EUR 1.65 billion to license Nokia’s patents, for a total transaction price of EUR 5.44 billion($7.2billion)in cash. Microsoft will draw upon its overseas cash resources to fund the transaction. Troops who stormed a terrorist camp in Balmo Forest, Bauchi State last week and destroyed it were reportedly said to have found identity cards and other incriminating items of some top politicians. Virginia’s Richmond Outreach Center (ROC) saw the loss of their senior pastor Geronimo Aguilar, who resigned after the allegations surfaced, creating a gap in leadership that lasted four months.  Known as “Pastor G,” Aguilar was charged with seven felonies in the incident, which allegedly took place all the way back in 1996, before his church was founded in 2001. If he is convicted, the pastor may face life in prison. Reports reaching us claim that founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has been barred from entering the United Kingdom. A source at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport told ‘ThisisAfrica’, that Oyedepo’s barring was communicated to airlines via an ‘Airline Alert’ on Saturday, 9 August. According to reports by FrontPage Africa, the last acts of Patrick Sawyer, the Ebola infected Liberian who died in Lagos, might have resulted in the transfer of the virus to innocent health workers, now suffering from the virus. Disturbing reports have it that the infected Liberian went into a rage when hospital workers informed him of the diagnosis. Mr. Sawyer died on July 25th in Lagos State. Mr. Sawyer is said to have had an "indiscipline" encounter with nurses and health workers at the First Consultants Hospital in Obalende where he was being treated. According to the report, Mr. Sawyer was asked if he had come into contact with anyone who had the virus but he answered in the negative. Liberian Minister Sebastian Muah Omar, who approved late Patrick Sawyer's trip to Nigeria has angrily reacted after he was criticized for letting Sawyer, a staff of the Liberian government, leave Liberia for Nigeria despite Liberian health officials placing him on Ebola danger list.  Sebastian Muah Omar told a Facebook user who asked him why he made such a decision that he does not owe him any explanation. The Central Bank Nigeria(CBN) has re-introduced ATM charges for cash withdrawals made on other banks’ Automated Teller Machines. In a circular dated August 13rd 2014 and signed by the Director, Banking and Payment Systems Department, CBN, Mr. Dipo Fatokun , the re-introduced ATM deduction pegged at N65 per withdraw would take effect from September 1st 2014. The circular states that the first three withdrawals in the month of September on other banks ATM would be free but the charges would start counting from the fourth withdrawal. Read report below..... "The CBN hereby issues the following directives: The re-introduction of ‘Remote-on-us’ ATM cash withdrawal transaction fee, which will now be N65 per transaction, to cover the remuneration of switches, ATM monitoring and fit-notes processing by acquiring banks; the new charge shall apply as from the fourth ‘Remote-on-us’ withdrawal (in a month) by a cardholder, thereby making the first three ‘Remote on us’ transaction
