Dust lady' of 9/11 Marcy Borders dies of cancer at 42

Marcy Borders covered in dust as she takes refuge in an office building after one of the World Trade Center towers collapsed in New York, September 11th 2001.
Marcy Borders was famously photographed covered in ash pulverized concrete as she fled the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001. She became known as the 'dust lady' and for many years shared her experience on surviving the terror attack on the US.Unfortunately she has died.

Marcy succumbed to stomach cancer on Monday August 24th. She was just 42. In an interview in Nov. 2014, while she battled with the disease, Marcy said she believed the cancer was caused from the dust of the Twin Towers that she inhaled. She had only worked at Bank of America for one month and was late for work on the day of the terror attack, saving her life.

Old PA Micheal Taiwo Akinkunmi a.k.a Mr flag man, is know as the man who designed the Nigerian Flag in the year 1959 and was first hoisted in October 1st 1960.
